It’s always a good idea to select your Oriental or Contemporary rug first. Then build your color scheme based on colors in the rug. I like to use the dominant rug color for my sofa.

Its hard to relate the rooms on tv to your home with its unique set of challenges, whether it’s an odd size room or whether you are trying to blend existing furniture with new. When spending thousands of dollars on furniture to live with for a long time, there is a fear factor, “What if I make a mistake?”, “What if the furniture looks wrong in my home?
