Time to redecorate. Where do I begin?
It’s always a good idea to select your Oriental or Contemporary rug first. Then build your color scheme based on colors in the rug. I like to use the dominant rug color for my sofa. The second dominant color in the rug can be used for walls. The strong colors you see in the rug work well as accents in a room, and usually in small doses, such as for pillows. However, a strong color can also look terrific used for 1 feature wall and paint the other 3 walls a shade of neutral.
Paint colors can be custom mixed making it very easy to achieve the color scheme you prefer.
